The Giving Journal is Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf’s way of giving back through their loyal customers. With the success of the Giving journal, CBTL was able to sponsor scholars from Real Life Foundation and gave them the opportunity to graduate and fulfill their dreams for themselves and for their families. This year, the giving journal promo has ended yesterday and I know it is another success and they would be able to help a lot of deserving students again. I am happy that I am able to complete one ticker card in order to get the Giving Journal and it means I have contributed something to CBTL’s advocacy in giving back.

The Giving journal is really nice. You can plan how you can give back this year. You can have a giving game plan: daily, weekly, monthly, yearly or seasonal and you can take note of it at the journal. There’s also the tap a shoulder tracker, wherein you can enumerate and track an act of giving that you want to do until it becomes a habit. There’s also the gift giving cheat sheet. You can choose six most special persons in your life ad note what’s their favorites so the next time you decide to give them something, you can easily know what they want.

And of course, the journal has monthly coupons so that when you visit once a month at CBTL, you can get discounts. Like in May, you can get frozen swirl for buy one take one when you use the coupon. The coupons can be used on any 35 branches in Metro Manila, 4 branches in Cebu and 1 branch in Davao.

The good news is, I have a spare Giving Journal in my bag and since, it’s the month of February already and February is very special to me. It’s my son’s birthday, my mother’s birthday, my future sister-in-law’s birthday, my birthday and lastly, our wedding anniversary plus of course, the Valentine’s day! I and my husband were strolling around Eton Centris in Quezon ave last week when we decided to rest and relax for a bit at Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf at Centris walk before going home. I don’t have plans of blogging about them but I was delighted at the service given by the staffs, Jaja and Reenah. Being a restaurant crew before, I always notice the service being given by the staffs when I eat out. With the service that they gave us, I give them two thumbs up so I decided to blog about them.

Upon entrance to the branch, Jaja immediately greeted us with a warm welcome. Throughout the order taking process, she was very friendly. She suggested products for me to try and suggested their loyalty card also. She was really convincing that I wanted to avail the card already but we decided to just avail it next time. When my orders were ready already, Reenah was on the pick up station, she was friendly as well and while we were enjoying our cup of coffee, we can hear Jaja’s voice, it was well modulated and she was really friendly with all the guests. On the way out, Jaja and Reenah, thanked us with a very sincere tone. That’s why, I decided to go back inside the branch and took their picture.
