Dreaming of a House

I’m sure all of us are dreaming of having our own house, house that we can call our own. Others even have a concrete description of their dream house. As for me, I just want a simple house. It can have three to four bedrooms, so my son has his own bedroom, while the other can be a guest room and a play room. I want a very nice kitchen with lots of equipment so I can try different menu each day.

I want to have already. It can be a hanging light or a landscape type as long as I can afford it. nice outdoor lighting fixtures, so that guests would have a good impression of the house. Of course, the lights inside should be equally beautiful as well. Pendant light fixtures in the rooms can add beauty to the inside of the house. I have found on web different designs of lights there are modern and contemporary, art types, and there are designs for the kids also. It would be nice to have a kids lightning design on my son’s room and the playroom. So far, its all I can think of, its just simple details, how about you, what are your thoughts on your dream home.

Review on Chic Boy Baguio

When we have a trip in Baguio early this month, we dined at Chic Boy located in Magsaysay Ave. The area is big though I’m not sure if there’s a basement flooring dedicated to parking area. Probably, some of you are wondering why chose to eat in Chic Boy when there are other restaurants at Baguio, well the reason is they have rice all you can, and we were really hungry that time.

Anyway, the outlet in Magsaysay Ave has a big dining area. At first, I thought it was small, since on the ground floor there were few tables only, but there’s a signage that says more seats on second floor, and when we went to the second floor, that whole floor is their dining area. It was really big. The second floor was generally clean and the tables and chairs were arranged properly. Condiments were available at the table with a nice container.

The service was very good. The staffs were very fast in doing their jobs and in assisting customers. They would approach the tables asking if the customers want extra rice or ice tea refill. They are attentive to the customer’s needs and they are very polite. There are a lot of varieties in food to choose from, there are chicken and liempo, either inasal or letson, sisigs, soups and vegetables. The servings size is good, especially the liempo. The taste is good too though the inihaw na liempo is not tender yet, we prefer the lechon liempo.

Overall, we enjoyed the dining experience, we were so full after the meal that we don’t need to eat dinner that day.

I am not! That’s why I admire those people who can play a musical instrument. Actually, musicians has a lot of admirers, it’s like playing an instruments has an additional good looking points. Good thing my son is showing signs that he wanted to play musical instruments. At a very young age, he likes to play with the organ at my mother’s house. Now that he is bigger, he is also interested with the guitar and drums but I wish he would also be interested with ukuleles, though this instruments is not that popular, the music coming from ukulele is very beautiful and it’s nice listening to it. I have found lots of videos at youtube that shows different individual playing ukulele and they are just fascinating. Do you also like listening to its music or you are fascinated with other instruments?

Watching Movies

I and my husband don’t watch movies in the theater very often as it is so expensive. We have to pay for the movie tickets plus we have to eat something inside the theater or after watching the movie. I think the last time we watch movie in the theater was his birthday in July last year. I was able to get movie discount using my smart rewards credits. Aside from that, I was able to get freebies on our food also. I hope this time, since, my birthday is approaching also, I hope I can get freebies or discounts so we can watch a movie together especially that, Angel Locsin’s movie with John Lloyd Cruz would be showing next week.

Have you ever dreamed of receiving a marriage proposal at a live show? If this happens, I’m sure this would be an unforgettable moment of your life. Just like Ginger and Ayna, wherein Ginger proposed at Showtime, last year some time in August . He got bouquet of flowers and of course the engagement rings ready. He may be a bit nervous while saying what he likes to say but the whole audience and the staffs are cheering him and they are so happy for the couple. Invest little early

Investing is important if we want to be prosperous when we reach the retirement age. Gold bullion is one of the good way of investing but most financial mentors would advice to start investing early even if you start with small money. Most of the common way to invest is the stock market. One book of Bo Sanchez even talks about his maids are investing in the stock market! Last week, I learned that investing in coops is a good deal too, just make sure you check the annual growth of the money, if the growth ranges from 8-10% per annum then that is good already, you can start investing a small amount and just continue to invest every month and in time you will reap the benefits of investing.

Our Golden Kitten

We don’t really have a pet here at home but last year our neighbor’s cat decided to give birth here in our house. The kittens stayed here until they are able to walk by themselves. Our neighbor was kind enough to let us keep one of the kittens. We choose the golden kitten which we named “goldie.” Here are the snapshots of Goldie while he was sleeping the other day.
