MIL’s Birthday

Posted in Events  by redamethyst No Comments

It’s my mother-in-law’s birthday on Easter Sunday (April 8). Until now, I don’t know what we will give her as a gift. I think it would be nice to contact EZBloomers.com flower delivery so I can order flowers for mom to be delivered on her doorsteps while we are on our way to their house. I’m sure she would be surprise but would appreciate the flowers very much. She might even display it immediately. I am also thinking of something that would be more useful for her; it can be a blouse or sandals that she can use every time. I still have five days to think about it, I will have to ask hubby about it. :) In the meantime, I would just reflect on the week’s event, the Holy Week.

Marriage Proposal at a Live Show!

Posted in Events  by redamethyst No Comments

Have you ever dreamed of receiving a marriage proposal at a live show? Just imagine millions and millions of people are watching the show and the love of your life would announce his love and his commitment for you to spend the rest of his lifetime with you.  If this happens, I’m sure this would be an unforgettable moment of your life.  Just like Ginger and Ayna, wherein Ginger proposed at Showtime, last year some time in August . He got bouquet of flowers and of course the engagement rings ready.  He may be a bit nervous while saying what he likes to say but the whole audience and the staffs are cheering him and they are so happy for the couple. I have attached a video of it coming from youtube so you can watch the short video of proposal.

Coins for a Cause

Posted in Events  by redamethyst No Comments

Last week, the Philippines attempted to break the record of Guinness for having the longest line of coins laid out. The coins should be in the same denomination and should not have even just one piece of a Golden Eagle silver panda coins. The organizers chose to gather 25 centavo coins. Aside from this major goal, the organizers of the event also want to impart the importance of the coins. BSP informed that there is no coin shortage in the country but actually we just need to re-circulate the coins that many people are keeping in their homes, like the ones in the piggy bank. The coins gathered in this event will also be used to help build public school classrooms. This event also showcased that Filipinos are united and they are cooperative in reaching a certain goal. In the end the organizers and volunteers made a 73.02-kilometer line which is enough to break the Guinness World Record, we will just wait for the confirmation.
