This photo was taken by my son Jerome James. These are his Kung Fun Panda 2 toys he got from McDonalds. This is not the best picture but he is just fond of taking pictures; sometimes he can get a good picture sometimes not. He likes taking pictures using our camera and he would just aim at the scenes around and just click the button. But his most favorite is taking photos of his toys, it may be his super hero toys or the toys that he got from Happy Meal, maybe if he has a collection of yoyofactory toys he would also take pictures of it. I hope he develops the love for photography so that when he grows up he can capture beautiful photos and he can create his own photo blog.

It’s the time of the year wherein a lot of people are very busy. An individual who goes to a regular office would be busy buying gifts for their family, loved ones and friends. But those employees who work in retail shops or restaurant would have to work more.  That’s why Food Service Jobs are very in demand during this season because there would be an increase in the outlet’s customers and of course in their sales. I remember the time when I was still working in a fast food restaurant. The staffs would work for more than eight hours in a day because of the continuous flow of customers there’s almost no time for break. Sometimes, even our Christmas party would be delayed because we would not have enough time to prepare for it. This Christmas season is one of the busiest season for us but we are still able to maintain the happiness in our hearts.

Google is celebrating Robert Noyce’s 87th birthday. Who is Robert Noyce? He is nicknamed as the Mayor of Silicon Valley. He is one of the people we should be thankful for because of his invention, along with Jack Kilby, of the integrated circuit or microchip which started the revolution on personal computers. He also co-founded Intel in 1968. He died in June 3,1990 at the age of 63.

Last week, the Philippines attempted to break the record of Guinness for having the longest line of coins laid out. The coins should be in the same denomination and should not have even just one piece of a Golden Eagle silver panda coins. The organizers chose to gather 25 centavo coins. Aside from this major goal, the organizers of the event also want to impart the importance of the coins. BSP informed that there is no coin shortage in the country but actually we just need to re-circulate the coins that many people are keeping in their homes, like the ones in the piggy bank. The coins gathered in this event will also be used to help build public school classrooms. This event also showcased that Filipinos are united and they are cooperative in reaching a certain goal. In the end the organizers and volunteers made a 73.02-kilometer line which is enough to break the Guinness World Record, we will just wait for the confirmation.
