It’s Not Always About Me

This is a blog review for It’s not always About me as an entry for Yuuki’s Twin Blogversary Contest.

It’s not Always About Me is a blog authored by Yuuki. I am a follower of this blog ever since. If I remember it right, I first “bump” on her at talk.ph forums. I was new to blogging then and I must say, Yuuki’s blog is one of my favorite stop. This is my second time to do a review for her blog, but just first for this site, so I will try to do my best again. hehe

I am always a fan of three column template and Yuuki have it on her site. Currently, the sidebar contains mainly about her contest mechanics and her contests sponsors. It also contains important stuffs like adgitize, entrecard, archives, recent posts and comments. However, categories or labels could be helpful if she adds it on her sidebar. I like her sidebar because it is not cluttered and of course the mechanics are there so participants can always look back at it, contest prizes are there also to attract more participants. Though I am not a fan of the color pink, I still like the pink and purple color that dominates the site.

Yuuki posts anything she likes, it can be about herself, her experiences, movies that she watch, books she reads or maybe random quotes. Quotes that can make you think and reflect. It helps reading the quotes she choose. Though Yuuki is just the author’s pen name, this blog reflects her real self.

She is also a meme participant such us Music Monday, and likes joining contest too. That’s why for her blogversary she chooses the host her own contest. If you haven’t join her contest yet, please take time to do so. Big prizes awaits the winner.
