Most of the blogs I visited is owned or maintained by a mommy blogger or a daddy blogger. One of them is gene, the author of gene + expriments. I like the three columns template because it is clean and not an eye sore. Badges and image ads are on the left side bar, while useful links, commentators, archives, lables and author profile are on the right side bar. The profile shows a beautiful young girl, this maybe Gene and she looks so young here, at first glance I though she was a teenager but I am wrong because she is a stay at home mom.
This blog is all about Gene and her adventures as a mother, from homemaking to her love for handmade products. Yes, she likes doing handmade products like crochet, cross-stitch and jewelries. She even showed some of her works. Aside from her projects she also writes about family, health, food and Photography. She also has a tutorial for some homemade projects. This mom is also an active participant of the weekly mommy moments meme, wherein she is a proud mother of Una, her daughter. To know more of what I am talking about, visit gene + experiments and it would be worth your time.
This is my first time to visit Earth Friendly Momma so I immediately looked for the about page or the profile of the author. Good thing about page is available on the navigation menu along with some important links. But the author’s name is not available on the about page but the favicon looks familiar, I already saw it somewhere in the blogosphere, I already have a guess on who the author is. And I am right, Jade is also the author of this green site. The layout is simple, with white background and clean sidebars. The green fonts and green background on the navigation menu is perfect for the blog’s theme.
The site’s content is all about the Mother Nature, the place where we live in, our very own planet; The Earth. It contains some useful tips on helping save our planet and other articles that is related to our planet. The aim of this blog is to make a little change that can save our planet. Caring for our planet should start now because as the author said “Once it’s gone, it’s gone! So start doing our small things to save the Earth, get some tips at Earth Friendly Momma.
Another blog brought to you by the Daddy blogger, Cornyman is the Cornymans Money-Blog. The title itself shows that she is the author of this site. This site has a three columns layout with both sides containing some ads and some sites wherein the author is earning money. Archives and labels are also available which it makes it easier for me to browse the site. The dark background of the main wrapper is also nice, it makes my reading easier.
The site’s contents are mainly about making money. Cornyman posts articles about the recent sites he joins wherein he earns money. Find also the sites that turned into scam. He writes good and very informative articles that will let you decide to join a certain program or not. If you are a new blogger, you better read his reviews for Entrecard, CMF ads and Adgitize, it would help you to decide whether to advertise on these sites or not. The latest article about MyLikes caught my attention. I have been a member of this site and yet I have no earnings, while he already posted his payment. So if you want to know about being financially independent and how to earn money online, you must visit this site.
I am a fan of Contests. I try to join as many contests as possible that’s why I even made a blog about the different contests and giveaways online and offline. Lately, I’ve been trying to review different sites as entry to the different blog contests and I am enjoying every minute of it. As I say, these are my latest addiction. So, why all the non – sense about my activities? It’s because Cornymans Blogreviews and Contests is all about the hottest contests & blog reviews. This site is brought to you by a daddy blogger, Cornyman. He has four other blogs. He doesn’t updates this blog as much as he updates his other blogs. Entries here is all about contests and blogreviews, what more can you expect? But He do writes a very nice and direct review. He also has his own way to make the contests more interesting to his readers.
The templates are just simple. It has two columns template with ads, archives, entrecard, adgitize widgets and blog roll on the sidebar. Top entrecard droppers are also given credits. Background is just as simple as white. There is no problem with that, just as Leonardo da Vinci said, “Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication”

I would see a silvergirl on my shoutbox from time to time. I even have a good competition with silvergirl on another site’s contest. So to find out who the silvergirl, I visited her site, Live for Life.., I became a follower of her blog immediately. The header is nice with some images of a butterfly and postcards. It has three columns template. Both the left and right sidebar contains widgets, ads and badges and sometimes I find it not really nice seeing ads on the left and the right sides. Another thing I notice is that the Title of the blog is Live for life as shown on the header and yet the title that I read on my tab is Live for Live. I am just not sure if this was done on purpose. I can not see the title of the articles, but I know they are there in the red background bar and when I point the mouse on this red bar, the title would show. So maybe, changing the title font color would help. I do hope silvergirl would understand what I mean and will not be offended.
Putting the layout aside, the author is a good writer. She posts articles that are very informative and useful. She even posts with her emotions, just read how she Bleed, an old article. It’s a good poetry. Her topics tackle almost anything, it can be about snacks, student, teacher, or even about health, motherhood and sex. Archives and labels are able so it would be easier for you to browse this site when you visit it.
This is a blog review as entry to Bambie’s Blogversary Contest
A nature friendly header welcomed me as I click the link to My so-called world. The header is like a path in a forest. It has a three column layout wherein the sidebars are on the both sides of the main wrapper. If my memory will not fail, this is my first time to visit this site. So I was looking for the About page to know more about the author. I did find a link to the “about” but it would just bring me back to the front page. Maybe the author is still in the process of editing some links here.
Upon browsing the old posts, I found out that the author is named “Kaka” and has been blogging since 2007. The contents of this blog range from being a mother to fashion and health issues. She also joins weekly meme Mommy Moments and Wordless Wednesday, and she is also fond of joining contest. With a Page Rank 2 and very interesting topics to read, My So-called World is worth your visit.

I must admit this is my first time to visit The Hunger Games Trilogy Fansite and I thought the owner is a man because of the brown colored background. But I was wrong, because the author is a girl that believes’s in Suzanne Collin’s writing. The layout is unique, not a common blog template, if I am not mistaken this a magazine type template. The latest entries are seen on top. Recent entries and comments are next to it. The sidebar is clean and the availability of archives and categories are useful. I also like the Title font and background color which is yellow. It fits the background perfectly.
As the title suggest, the content of the blog is about The Hunger Games. Different quotes, pictures and graphics can be found here. The site is just new because it only has a few posts, but I know the author is already coming up with good posts about Hunger Games. So if you are a Hunger Games addict, this site is best for you.
This is not my first time to do a review for WAHMaholic. But this time this review is an entry for Bambie’s Blogversary Contest. The site had a major make over from the last time I reviewed it. What can you expect? The author is K, the resident blog designer and banner creator extraordinaire of the Marce Club. The layout is really beautiful. The navigation menu is very useful containing portfolio, contact and sitemap. On the side bar, recent posts and comments, popular posts and tag cloud can be seen, just click on the tab you choose. The title fonts are very stylish and elegant. It has also a three footer template that is just perfect.
The author is a Work at home mom and you can get to know her with her post for the BC Bloggers’ party. Most of her articles here is about designs and layout. She really got the talent for that. Aside from that she is giving away demonoid invitation codes from time to time, so better check out the site every day if you want to catch those invites and know how to use.
K & Pehpot just concluded their Blogversary contest which gave me the opportunity to learn how to do reviews. Congratulations for the successful contest!
