Health and Beauty Diva is another blog brought to you by the same author of MommaWannabe. Just as I guess, because upon seeing the favicon I know the author is Jade already. I think, if you see that girl on the favicon that website is authored by Jade. Just as the title said the topics of this site is all about health and beauty. The author herself is health buff in the making. As quoted on her site
As I age I learn that if we love ourselves,we should take care of ourselves.
She is right, that’s why this site was created to share different information she come across that she thinks is useful for her readers. Wanna know the ABCs of Weight Loss, then visit her site to know more about it. Learn to take care of yourself with this great site. A cool green on the background and woman relaxing on the header you can never miss that this is a Health and Beauty Blog.
Runaway Blogger is authored by a Murse. Yes, you read it right, and I spelled it right. Ethan is a murse. Murse is a short word for male nurse according to a modern dictionary. But to his sister, mommawannabe, murse is a half breed maid and half breed nurse. Now, I learned something new. I like the simple two column layout of this site. The sidebar is very clean with just a few widgets. Archives are also available on the footer.
This blog is all about his stories and experiences in Singapore and a also a few glimpse of the Philippines. But upon reading some of his articles I think he is back here in the Philippines for a fresh start. I know he learned a lot from his journey in Singapore. Other than her personal experiences he also shares random thoughts like his opinion on adoption, he also tackles about Man’s grooming. I seldom stumble on a personal blog of a guy, and this site is worth visiting and reading. I’m sure I’ll be back to this simple yet sophisticated blog.
I know this is not a good time to do a review for Spread the WORD because currently this site is being migrated to WORDpress. Spreading the Word using WordPress, isn’t it nice? But hey, Bambie’s Contest will end tomorrow and I just realized that I haven’t done a review for this site.
Oh anyway, this site is also brought to you by Liz, the same author of Bloguardian Hellsite: Overcashed and Pinkville and I think 2 other blogs. Some of her topics are about food and restaurant that she actually enjoys. Websites, Domains, games, clothes and other informative topics can also be read at this site. Liz, writes very interesting and informative articles so visiting her site would always be worth it. I know as soon as the overhaul of this site is done the layout would be awesome. I am looking forward to the new SWORD.
AngeLjme left a comment asking what is Bambie’s Contest. I am not really a fan of the Pink Color but I am a fan of a three columns layout for blog, it maybe two sidebars on the left or the right, or maybe one sidebar on each side. My Contest and Games Craze site has a sidebar on both sides. Why I am saying these things? It’s because Proud Mommy and Wifey has a pink background and three columns layout with the sidebar on both sides of the main wrapper. Though I am not a fan of Pink it didn’t stop me from reading some of the articles on this blog. The blue and black font is just perfect for the background. Obviously the author is a woman names Sam. She is a loving mom to Keona and a loving wife to RV.
The blog’s topic is focused about Home and Family and Sam’s experiences as a mommy and a wife. She shares different pictures and stories about her child; it can be a milestone or just a weekend stroll in the neighborhood. Aside from these topics, she also talks about scrap booking, health, conditions and diseases and some other stuff. She is also participates in weekly meme, Wordless Wednesday and Tuesday Quotable Toot. This is one proud mommy blog.
I Empower Myself is a blog by Ylien, also the author of Here Anything Goes. The site loads fast though it has lots of ads. There are ads in between posts and on top. The side bar contains some ads too and some badges of sites where the author is earning. I find it difficult reading the articles since the fonts are small and there are text ads in between. But the navigation menu is very helpful. The author was able to categorize her articles very well. The About page is very useful because it contains many information about the site and it gives information about the navigation menu. Readers can go through here and choose what category to go first. I really like the simple header with grassy background, it fits perfectly what the site is all about, empowering oneself but again there is a banner ad here that would look like the background of the header.
Putting the ads aside, the author has very nice and informative articles. This is her notepad on things that she learns in life, it may be in book or real life experience. It will not only give you tips on how to improve you body fitness and wellness, but also give you financial literacy and growth. These are just some of her topics in this blog. I’m sure I will learn a lot from this site. I know you will too, so if you want to empower yourself, visit I empower myself and get some useful tips.
Inspirational Insights is a personal blog of Mommy Chris. She is the mother behind the successful meme every Friday, Mommy Moments. I like the header with butterfly, flowers and a little girl on the background. It’s simple and yet inspiring. The three columns template is nice too. There are not too much gadgets on the sidebar. It’s just clean.
Here, Chris writes about her personal thoughts. It can be a bible verses or inspirational thoughts or maybe even an inspirational photos. I also noticed that the blog will turn one this coming May, and she is looking for some sponsors. You might want to drop by at her site and you might want to sponsor something. She is also an active participant of different meme; the badges of the memes can be seen on the side bar, to name a few, letters that I’ll never send and Friday Photo Flashback. These are interesting meme, I might join soon. To know more of what I am talking about, you may visit Inspirational Insights and be inspired!
